It would be great if someone wrote a speech activated LaTeX editor, in which one could write math formulae by reading them to the machine. I guess the program would be quite simple if supplied with a speech recognition engine. But it is very usefule, since eventhough LaTeX, and MathML, have basically solved the basic issues of writing math in the computer world, their format is a bit out of the ordinary and alien to the usual ease of writing math on a piece of paper by hand. But reading math formulea is almost as easy for humans as writing them down, and this can provide a much easier way of entering them into the computer.
